About

Why Dietrick built Knockly.

For most of the last decade, Dietrick sold into the Fortune 500 at Salesforce. He kept watching the same thing happen from the other side: founders raising real money, hiring an SDR way too early, and burning a year of runway before figuring out outbound was the wrong first move.

Knockly is the answer he wishes those founders had. Outbound run by an operator who has actually sold, paid by the meeting, with a real company behind the scenes. Not a freelancer with a Calendly link.

Who does the work

One operator. One engine.

Dietrick Cyrus

New York

Founder · Sales · Delivery

Grew up in Trinidad. Worked his way into enterprise sales at Salesforce, where he sold into the Fortune 500 and consistently finished as a top rep on his team. He learned outbound at the highest end of the market: long cycles, real budgets, picky buyers.

The pattern that pushed him to start Knockly was watching early-stage SaaS founders try to copy that motion with none of the infrastructure. Throw a junior SDR at a half-baked offer and a cold list, hope something lands, lose six months and twenty grand. He knew the offer was the problem more often than the SDR was.

Now he runs the calls, writes the sequences, and sits in the inbox for every Knockly client himself. If the offer cannot convert cold traffic yet, he will tell you on day five and send the setup fee back. He does not take projects he does not believe in.

On every weekly call. Reads every reply.

Tommy So

China

Co-founder · Systems · Operations

Tommy is the engine room. He builds the research tooling, the sending stack, the SOPs, and the data pipeline that lets one operator cover more accounts than a five-person agency. Ten years across IT, growth ops, and digital marketing, including running 慢慢来 · MML, a digital marketing company serving Chinese exporters into Western markets.

The reason this works is that Dietrick is not a super-freelancer. There is a real company behind him, a real codebase, and a real operator quietly making sure the work happens at the standard he asks for.

Co-founder of Knockly. Founder of MML.

What we don't do

We turn down work that does not fit.

It is the only way to keep our results honest.

  • We don't take Series B+ companies. Decision chains get too long. Our model breaks.
  • We don't take pre-Seed companies. You probably need to be your own SDR for another six months. We will happily tell you what to do.
  • We don't take ChatGPT-wrapper products. The buyer cannot tell yours apart from the others. Cold outbound will not fix that.
  • We don't promise "$15K MRR in 45 days." MRR depends on your product, your pricing, and your close rate, not just our outbound. We promise meetings. You close them.
  • We don't hide behind dashboards. If you can't read the sequences we sent and the calls we logged, we are doing it wrong.
